On the successful third day of the five-day book fair today, Friday, Divisional Commissioner Mr. Abhay Verma, Inspector General Mr. Anil Kumar Kushwaha, and Collector Mr. Deepak Saxena arrived at the venue and inspected the arrangements of the fair. On this occasion, Mr. Verma praised the efforts of Collector Mr. Saxena for organizing the book fair. Additionally, Commissioner Mr. Verma also interacted with book vendors, children, and their parents. He said that through the book fair, copies, books, and other necessary educational materials are easily available in one place, which is convenient for people. This arrangement has also brought satisfaction among children and their parents. Commissioner Mr. Verma wished the district administration for the organization of the book fair and also appreciated the awareness activities organized by the District Election Office’s sweep cell. Inspector General Mr. Kushwaha also expressed his thoughts on the significance of the book fair. Commissioner Mr. Verma took photos at the selfie stand set up in the fair by the sweep cell of the District Election Office. In order to raise awareness among citizens about voting, a street play was presented by the students of Chanchal Bai Mahavidyalaya, encouraging people to vote on the basis of humanity without succumbing to any kind of temptation. During this, District Sweep Coordinator Pramod Srivastava informed Commissioner Mr. Verma about various voter awareness activities being organized in the district through the sweep. Commissioner Mr. Verma also awarded and administered the oath of voting to students, artists participating in voter awareness programs in the fair, and present citizens. It is noteworthy that the first book and voter awareness fair organized in Gol Bazaar, the Martyrs’ Memorial, to provide relief to parents from the arbitrary fees of private schools, is being praised for purchasing copies, books, uniforms, and other educational materials at cheap rates.
