In Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Executive Committee for 2025-26 was held on Monday at the Indian Medical Association Hall. During the program, former IMA President Dr. Avijit Vishnoi gave an honorable introduction of all the guests. The event was conducted by Dr. Aditya Parihar and Dr. Shamik Raza.
Chief Guest Prashant Singh presided over and addressed the program. The Advocate General of Madhya Pradesh, Prashant Singh, along with the distinguished guest, Dr. Navneet Saxena, “Dean, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College,” administered the oath of office to the newly elected IMA executive committee. The committee includes President Dr. Richa Sharma, Secretary Dr. Shamik Raza, Treasurer Dr. Mohsin Ansari, Vice Presidents Dr. Kahkashan Raza, Dr. Deepak Varkade, and Dr. Aditya Parihar; Joint Secretaries Dr. Aboli Panse, Dr. Shalabh Agrawal, and Dr. Lalit Srivastava; and Executive Members Dr. Pawan Agrawal, Dr. Geeta Guin, Dr. Manish Mishra, and Dr. Neeraj Sethi.
On this occasion, a flag salutation was also performed. Former President presented the President’s Medal to Dr. Richa Sharma. In her address, Dr. Richa Sharma outlined the objectives of IMA and the roadmap for upcoming programs. She personally contributed a cheque of ₹50,000 to IMA Jabalpur, which was handed over to Secretary Dr. Shamik Raza and Treasurer Dr. Mohsin Ansari.
On this occasion, the members of IMA Jabalpur also organized a colorful cultural program with the theme “Sawan”. The program featured contributions from Dr. Aboli Panse, Dr. Kamla Lalwani, Dr. Meena Singh, Dr. Shweta Sirsikar, Dr. Rakhi Bajpai, Dr. Shubha Singhai, Dr. Falak Raza, Dr. Neeraj Sethi, and Dr. Lalit Srivastava.
Kumari Maitreyi, who came from Sagar, captivated everyone with a Kathak dance performance dedicated to the worship of the Goddess.
